Leaving Kraków

My time in Kraków has helped me to learn a lot about work ethics, impact and responsibility. Unfortunately it also created personal roadblocks. I needed to step out of the everydays. Breathe fresh air and seek more meaning.

I traveled light to Madrid and shared a ride to Leon. The next morning just before sunrise I stepped out of the Auberge and started walking. Tears, awe, stress, humility.

The landscape and the people brought new impressions. My thoughts started clearing up. Compulsions were fading away. Life got simpler. Long painful walks from the morning darkness till late afternoons. Dry meadows. Foggy hillsides. A fresh cut of meat for dinner with good wine. Short friendships. Kind people. Sun. Rain. Despair. Relief.

Arrival to Santiago de Compostella

The conclusion to be made was fairly straight forward. Time to close this chapter of my life. Time to go back and find a way to leave Krakow.
